Icecream Screen Recorder is a freeware tool for taking screenshots and video recording. It is highly customizable so users can manually set plenty of configurations, such as:
Area to capture (manually or select default resolutions);
Recorded sound (record or not system sounds and microphone audio);
Desktop icons and mouse cursor (you can both hide and leave them shown);
Way of saving screenshot (as a graphic file of JPG or PNG format, copy to clipboard or upload by URL);
Graphic elements (users can add random lines, arrows, circles, rectangles and text to both screenshots and screencasts);
Language of the interface (it is available on 26 languages);
Users can add tasks for recording screen with certain start and stop time in advance ;
Minimum recording area is 30x30px, maximum is fullscreen;
Several monitors support.
