Takoyaki, (called Num Krok in Khmer language) was found in 1930s. And now it is loved all over Japan, especially in Osaka.
Takoyaki is considered as Osakan Soul food. Would you like to find out the recipe of this inviting Japanese food? Mr. YUTA UJIIE, a Japanese instructor at Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center, will show you via this article :


* Ingredients: 
1. purpose flour 100g
2. 3-4 eggs
3. water 450g (ml)
4. dashi sauce 5g
5. soy sauce 5g
* Combine water 100ml, eggs, dashi sauce together and add soy sauce, then add purpose flour and mix and add water 350ml.
6. octopus (raw) 200g- wash well and rub with salt then put into boiled water cut to 5mm
7. potato chips ½ bag-smash into pieces
8. long green onion ½-chop it
9. pickled red ginger 20g-chop it 
10. Topping – sauce, mayonnaise, dried green seaweed, dried bonito flakes
11. Others – oil, tissues and skewers


* Direction :
1. Heat the takoyaki pan over medium to medium high heat (on my stove, it’s medium high)
2. Using a brush, generously oil the takoyaki pan including the raise parts in between bowls
3. Pour the batter
4. Add 1-3 octopus pieces in each hole and sprinkle on the green onion
5. Add potato chips, long green onion, pickled red ginger
6. Break the connected batter in between each bowl with skewers
7. Make takoyaki balls twirl till well-cooked
8. Transfer takoyaki balls onto a plate
9. Pour mayonnaise and sauce
10. Topping dried green seaweed and dried bonito flakes

*** It will taste better if you make it one day before.
